lead generation tips

What Are The Best Lead Generation Methods?

If you are trying to generate leads for your business, there are several ways that you can benefit from using the Internet to find customers that will be more than happy to purchase your products. It is a fantastic way to get leads on autopilot using many of the various techniques that are perfect for the generation. The amount of time that you spend will be minimal once you have your campaigns set up. You can also use search engine optimization strategies in order to get your leads every day using these proven techniques. Here is an overview of the best the generation methods that exist today that can help you build your business quickly.

PPC Campaigns

One of the easiest ways to get almost instant results with a lead generation campaign is to set up a pay per click campaign on Google or Facebook. You can target very specific keywords and demographics that will allow people to see your advertisement for whatever product that you offer. Once they arrive, there will be a subscribe box that pops up, or there will be a form on the page that they can fill out, allowing you to capture the lead.

SEO

Search Engine Optimization

SEO is quickly becoming one of the best ways to generate a substantial amount of leads, individuals that will be very interested in the products that you sell. This is actually a better way to get leads by comparison to PPC traffic because of how inexpensive it actually is. It is also a long-term strategy that you can use to get targeted visitors that will be more than happy to subscribe to your newsletter. They can be obtained by offering a discount on products that you sell, or giving a free gift, which will motivate them to enter in their name and email address.

Social Media Marketing

If you are able to use social media platforms such as Facebook or Twitter, and connect with as many followers as possible, you can generate a list of potential leads by simply having people like or follow you. You can set up a campaign where people can see your Facebook page, and when they follow you, they will also see all of your offers that you post on your newsfeed. The same is true for Twitter and any of the other social media sites that are designed to build followers very quickly. You can either visit other people’s social media pages and make comments, after which people may visit your page to see what you are discussing. Or, you can set up a “Like” campaign on Facebook to generate a fast list of followers. Although this was considered to be a platform that was primarily for sharing images and videos, it is now one of the best ways to generate leads that will be interested in purchasing the products that you sell.

Lead Generation Funnel

Once you have built up a substantial list of people on your autoresponder, or people that are followers on your social media page, you should start to see a dramatic change in the revenue that you make simply because you have so many more people receiving information from you via email, or seeing the posts that you make on your social media page. These are the best the generation methods that you can use on the Internet right now, and with a little bit of time and a small investment, you can see a dramatic change in your revenue for your business this year using PPC traffic, search engine optimization, and social media marketing.

Marketing Strategies

Marketing Via Your Blogs: How To Develop A Successful Strategy

To be successful with just about any business today, you simply must have an online presence. Blogging is a very practical and economical means of getting yourself online and it can also help your business to become very successful, if you work at it properly. Here are a few ideas to help you develop a successful strategy when using your blogging skills for marketing purposes.

Capture Your Reader's Attention Right Away

While blogging can be an exceptional marketing medium, it's incredibly competitive. If you don't deliver a clear and enticing message immediately, your readers have (literally) millions of other sources of information to turn to. Give them a very good reason to land on your pages and give them even more reasons to stay there, by creating highly targeted, useful and engaging content. First impressions really count with blogging.

Capture Your Reader's Email Strategically

Most people don't want to be bombarded with requests for their email address as soon as they land on a page – it's annoying and often, reason enough for them to immediately exit. Give your audience a few moments to absorb the value of your blog and get drawn in; thereafter, your request for their email addresses should be tasteful, non-obtrusive and offer some serious value for the reader's time and effort.

Email Your List With Laser Focus

Because you are using your blog to market, it's important that the emails you send out are very targeted, both in terms of who you're sending them to and the message they deliver. Always alert your list to new posts, but let them know what it's about; if you have a special offer they may be interested in, be clear about it from the title to your closing. Wasting someone's time with frivolous notices may quickly see them unsubscribing from your list.

Guest Post On Relevant Blogs

Literally spread the word about your business or service by blogging on other sites that are similar to yours or somehow relate to it. If you have the opportunity to guest post on a popular blog, take advantage of it, even if it's not closely related to your niche, just be sure and tie your message together in terms of the duality of the audience. Also, invite guest bloggers to post on your own pages, provided they're going to add value to your content.

Blogging Marketing

Develop A Strong Social Media Presence

Blogging is essentially a form of social media, thus, connecting across platforms is only natural. Add links to your blog that allow your readers to share and like your posts, but take it a step further by developing your own social media presence, where you can highlight your most impressive posts. There are programs that allow for auto-posting, so when you post to the blog, a link to the content is automatically generated on your social media accounts. This makes the process far less time consuming.

Take Advantage Of Free Trials

Blogging can be a major drain on your resources, including monetarily; therefore, you'd be wise to take advantage of as many free, no strings attached offers that apply to you. For example, you should be able to "test drive" a host, SEO services and more, without ever investing a dime. Many will even allow you to enlist their products and services without a credit card number. Since you're putting so much into marketing through a blog, you want to avail yourself to the current tools and trends that will help you succeed, only without having to waste a lot of money in the process.

While blogging can be an effective means of promoting your business online, there's also a lot of work involved. Make your time and effort pay off, by approaching the process with the right strategy and the right mind-set. If you are persistent, professional and proficient, you should succeed.

Last Chance for Pie

Get a Piece of the Pie

Markethive is the new Market Network.

You all know what a Social Network is and we can probably identify is MySpace but in reality 6th degrees gets the distinction as the official Social Network established in  1997 (to be noted Veretekk, a social networked automated marketing platform started in 1996). With that said, the burgeoning Social Network revolution really gained steamed as Facebook and Twitter took the field and dominated the market in 2006.

Poor Myspace launched around the year 2000, but the marketing and shear investment brought Facebook to prominence crushing poor underfunded MySpace in the process. We do not want that to happen with Markethive. We are the David and we will be facing Goliaths as we move forward.

As it stands right now, we are ready to fully launch and need the capital to do the launch right and BIG! We have been pursuing venture and angel capital for several months now. Getting pretty close. But something amazing happened yesterday…..

Venture capital started pursuing us. Yes, the word is out because of the power of Markethive’s blog platform and reach, we were contacted yesterday by a capitalist who saw our broadcasts and began seeking us. And now we are in negotiations with them.

This may or may not be the final bell, before Markethive funds millions and starts the launch procedure to begin the ascension to top Market Network.

It may or may not be your last chance to hitch a ride for practically nothing. I know, $500 is a lot for people who have limited resources. But let us play the what if game OK?

LinkedIn posted 2.9 billion in revenue in 2015. That is right Two Billion 900 million in cash revenue. Markethive has all the potential to achieve that and even more. I have always believed this to be the case.

Now what is 5% of 2.9 billion? It is $145 million. Now divide that number by 250 shares (Alpha Legacy shares) and you get $580,000 dollars. That is ½ of a million dollars. I would say that a $500 contribution is a mighty small amount to leverage that potential.

Every year and growing, would that make a difference in your life? And the BOD contributors that paid $4800 for 1 share of 100 will share 20% of this potential revenue. Looks like we night be cruising toward creating 350 millionaires, doesn’t it?

BTW: There are about 10 of those 100 BOD shares still available.

Exciting times Markethive is entering. See you at the meetings.

The Alpha Legacies are limited and will be gone within a few weeks.

We are often bombarded with articles touting the benefits of social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. However, it often seems as if Instagram has faded into the annals of digital history. The truth of the matter is that this medium is still one of the best portals out there to help get your message across to your followers. Let's look at five reasons why you NEED to include Instagram as a part of your PR campaign.

Engagement

This is one of the “golden” words in terms of digital media marketing. One thing that the analysts do not often mention is that even branded posts on Twitter and Facebook often get overlooked by followers. The same cannot be said for Instagram. A study by Forrester found that Instagram posts are 58 times more popular than Facebook and even more so when compared to Twitter (1). Engagement equals conversions.

Connections and Trust

Instagram has always been a way to personally connect with your audience. However, sharing daily experiences tends to be much quicker and easier when compared to other social media circles. Clients who see the rather informal side of a business are more likely to believe whatever it is that your campaigns are promoting.

Getting in on the Ground Floor

What is amazing to consider is that a study conducted by American Express found that a mere 2% of all marketers are currently using Instagram as part of their ongoing marketing campaigns (2). So, why not get in on the ground floor before the masses jump on the bandwagon? As the competition on Facebook and Twitter tends to be much more established, Instagram can prove to be a valuable edge.

Your Market?

It has been shown that the so-called “millennial” generation represents (and will continue to represent) a powerful buying demographic. Coincidentally, more than one-third of this age group currently uses Instagram on a daily basis (3). So, it pays to be a winner with the millennials. We should still not fail to mention that other generations can just as easily be targeted. Generation X and Y have been successfully attracted by larger campaigns such as those produced by General Electric and Ford.

No Capital Outlay

Much like other platforms, Instagram is completely free to use. Signing up takes only a matter of moments and uploading content is just as simple. Any marketer always needs to be concerned in terms of ROI and even if only one conversion takes place (which is hardly the case), the portal would have more than paid for itself.

The Youthful Perception

A growing percentage of young buyers are claiming that they feel out of touch with the majority of marketing campaigns. Once a potential client is lost, it is not likely that he or she will return in the future. Using Instagram as a part of your overall strategy will enable your company to appeal young and vibrant. Perhaps more importantly, it shows your audience that you care about how you are perceived. Such views can go a long way as far as securing a sale and let's not forget that much like other portals, Instagram posts can be shared via word of mouth with other interested followers. This is another form of free advertising!

Instagram is truly one of the hidden gems within this virtual world. As it still appears to be a relatively untapped medium, there is simply no reason why it should not be included within any current or future PR campaign.

$26,700,000.00 with my bank. I was his account officer before I rose to the position of

Mr. Husson was among the death victims in the September 2009 earthquake in Indonesia that left

over 1,200 people dead while he was there on business trip.

Since the last quarter of 2010 until today, the management of my bank has been finding means to

reach him so as to ascertain if he will roll over the Deposit or have the contract sum

withdrawn. When I discovered that this will happen, I have tried to think up a procedure to

preserve this funds and use the proceeds for business. Some directors here have been trying to

find out from me the information about this account and the owner, but I have kept it closed

because, i know that if they become aware that Mr. Husson is late, they will divert the funds

for themselves. Therefore, am seeking your co-operation to present you as the one to benefit

from his fund at his death since you have the same name, so that my bank headquarters will pay

the funds to you. I have done enough insidebank arrangement and you only have to put in your

The Emerging Importance of Videos Within Marketing Campaigns

What are some of the most memorable marketing campaigns that you have ever seen? Does static text or a clever email come to mind, or do you instead recall a snappy video? The chances are high that videos rank at the top of the list. These entertaining mediums are highly effective at capturing the attention of the audience while they are able to be much more creative in terms of the content delivered. What are some of the other reasons why videos are now set to take center stage during 2016 and beyond?

First-Come, First-Buy?

Landing pages now need to be more engaging than ever before. One great way to accomplish this is through the use of a video. Whether referring to testimonials, product overviews or how-to media, marketing analyst Unbounce reports that conversion rates can increase by as much as 80% when videos are some of the first interactive experiences (1).

Entertainment Value

Videos have the ability to capture (and hold) the attention of the viewer for longer periods of time when compared to traditional textual content. This is very important, for the addition of a video can help decrease bounce rates. The longer that an individual remains on a page, the more likely it his that he or she will take an interest in what is being offered.

Mobile Phones and Their Relation to Videos

It is estimated that 48% of all mobile users employ apps to watch videos (2). However, this is not the primary reason why videos are critical to address this audience. Have you ever tried to read an advertisement on a screen that is only a few inches wide? This can be nearly impossible; especially if the content or graphics are intricate. Videos can do away with this situation. They can be quickly and easily viewed. Even if the screen itself is not watched, the fact of the matter is that the audio contained within is able to convey the ultimate purpose of the business and product in question. Those who are on the go or browse the Internet coming and going from work will particularly take advantage of these qualities. Add in one click sign-up and the odds of getting the prospects info is greatly increased!

Getting on the Bandwagon

Video advertisements are growing in their number as well as their popularity. To back up this observation, ComScore has shown that the average Internet user now spends no less than 16 minutes every month watching these marketing campaigns (3). This number has dramatically increased when compared to only a few years ago. Businesses which are able to leverage this medium now can place themselves ahead of the competitive curve. In fact, video marketing could very well be just as impactful of a trend that social media campaigns represented five years ago.

Better Viewer Recall

This last observation has just as much to do with human psychology as it involves digital marketing. Videos use a number of different mediums to get their point across. Music, graphics and the spoken word are obviously the top three. Each serves to reinforce the other. Videos are therefore much more memorable than the average PR campaign within a static website. Higher retention rates equate to better chances that the consumer will recognise a brand and take action in the future. These are five of the main reasons why video advertising is without a doubt here to stay. Taking into account that such widgets are very easy to embed within a website, it makes a great deal of sense that marketers will be using them to their advantage throughout 2016.

Using Online Video Websites to Promote Your Business

Are you a small business owner? If so, how is your business doing? Despite businesses that are a success, there are many business owners who want more. If you are one of those individuals, it is likely that you would do just about anything in your power to improve your business, especially if you sell a particular product or service. When working to improve their businesses, many business owners spend thousands, if not millions, of dollars on advertising. How would you feel if you learned that there was a free way that you could promote your business?

A free way to promote your business? Unfortunately, many business owners believe that there is no such thing. If by chance it is believed, there are many who would automatically assume that it was a wasted effort. Although many free advertising methods can be deemed time consuming and not worth the effort, there is one that you should try. That method involves the internet and free online video websites.

If you are an avid internet user, there is a good chance that you are fully aware of what free online video websites are and what they do. If not, you will want to learn. Free online video websites are websites that allow internet users to watch videos that are hosted on their website, free of charge. What is nice about free online video websites is that most will also allow internet users, just like you, to make, upload, and share their own videos. Depending on the type of business you own and operate, you may be able to use these websites to your advantage.

When it comes to using free online video websites to your advantage, you will want to familiarize yourself with the websites that are currently available. You can easily do this by performing a standard internet search. Your search should produce a fairly large number of results, including Google Video and YouTube. Before making your video, you will want to examine any of the rules and restrictions that are set in place. When doing so, you will find that most video websites do not have any rules or restrictions concerning the use of online videos to promote your business; however, you will still want to make sure that your video is tactfully done.

If you are an online business owner, especially one that sells a particular product, you could make a video showcasing your product. For instance, if your specialty is photo blankets, you may want to show your samples or even go over the process of making them. It may also be a good idea to mention the overall cost of photo blankets and who should own them. If your product would make a great gift, it is also advised that you mentioned that. When doing your video, you will want to refrain from making your video seem like spam. Although you may want to mention the price, you will want to refrain from promoting your business too much. At the end of your video, you may want to offer directions on how to make a purchase or learn more information.

Although products are the easiest to showcase in an online video, you can also use your video to help promote a particular service that you sell. For instance, if you offer assistance to those that are in debt, you will want to provide an overview of what debt is, who it hurts, and how help can be obtained. Providing general information on debt is a great way to keep your video from appearing too pushy. As mentioned above, you may also want to include information on your business at the end of your video. This may help to increase the number of clients you receive, especially if you provide a service that is used and needed by many.

To make you video, whether or not you plan on using that video to promote your business, you will need a few pieces of equipment. Perhaps, the most important is a recording device. For the best results, you are urged to use a camcorder, but you can also use a webcam. Movie making software is important, as well. Most computers already come equipped with movie making software. After you have made and saved your video, you will have to follow the instructions of the free online video website you wish to use.

I’m not going to sugar coat it, sell you rainbows and unicorns or tell you that becoming an entrepreneur will make you instantly rich. And I’m definitely not going to tell you that it’s easy. Starting your own business is HARD. The biggest component to success is a high-risk tolerance.

I have repeatedly struggled to find my footing, pay bills and get everything set up before finally finding a workable formula.

The business itself is easy to create. I’ve written about how to quickly set up an online money-maker for yourself. I’ve even put together some ideas and specific examples for you to help you come up with an idea.

It’s the cultivation of the business that takes time and energy. No matter how great your idea is, it will not flower by itself. You have to nurture it.

And that’s the problem. Nurturing takes TIME. Lot’s and lot’s of time, attention, care and energy.

My goal is to help you harness the digital power to make yourself money with as little effort as possible. We all know the major themes: create products, share value with people, make income. But it’s not exactly a linear process, is it?

So how do you make a relatively smooth transition from corporate employee to automated/digitized entrepreneur without going destitute?

You have to start with the middle road: freelancing.

The bottom line is this – you need time to set up your business. Most corporate jobs have schedules that don’t really allow for the type of time you need to build content, products, relationships and skills.

What I did: In the transition period between quitting my job at Longhorn Steakhouse in Atlanta, making $2 an hour, to creating my digital empire out of my office in gorgeous Santa Monica, I worked as a contracted online freelancer. I got to create my own schedule, meet a bunch of interesting people, and do something that I loved (or at least liked a lot).

And the biggest perk of all? I could charge a LOT more money.

Most corporate jobs are salaried – so they’re going to max you out and overwork you for the same pay.

Hourly jobs can be low-paying by their very nature. The more money you make per hour, the less the company wants you to work. It’s a catch-22. But as a freelancer, none of this applies to you. You set your own schedule and you set your own rates.

Inevitably, this is where the objections start to crop up:

“I have no idea what I would do. I’m not good at coming up with ideas.”

“I don’t have any valuable skills. I just have my job-specific skills.”

“My market is already saturated. There are better people doing what I do.”

“Nobody will pay for what I know when they can just teach themselves.”

(These are exact copy and pastes from fans and readers who follow my work.)

What are your skills?

There are literally HUNDREDS of things you can do that are enjoyable and that other people will PAY you for. Start thinking about where you could mine your talent for freelance skill:

  • What do people consistently ask you for help or advice in?
  • Do you have any unique skills, talents, hobbies or abilities?
  • What areas of life have you excelled to an “advanced” or even “intermediate” level?
  • What skills ideas interest you enough to learn, and then teach to others?
  • Could you work independently doing what you do now at your current job?
  • Do you have any friends with talents that compliment yours? Maybe you could team up.

My Story

Best to learn by example, I think. Here’s how I did it.

When I first started freelancing, I was working at Longhorn Steakhouse (I’m basically a steak aficionado now). I was also working for Kaplan Test Prep.

My steak skills weren’t worth much. But my Kaplan skills were. I realized that people were paying $100+ per hour for me to tutor their student one-on-one. You won’t believe how much I was making…$18/hour!

And the worst part was…I THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD WAGE!!

Our perceptions are skewed because minimum wage is $7.25. So we think that anything significantly higher than that is good money. The reality is, $7.25 isn’t even livable. You probably need a minimum of $20/hour to make it out here.

But when I really sat down to think about it…I just got INFURIATED.

Here I was, doing all the teaching, grading, talking, communicating with parents, driving from school to school while Kaplan just sat back remotely and took 82% of my money.
BS!!

Since I as the one with the skill, I needed to be the one making the money. I knew I could make this work on my own and cut out the middle man.

So I bided my time. I looked around, I made some calls.

I found a partner who was also interested in getting a freelance education business going. He was the consulting side, I was the teaching side. Together we knocked down doors, created classes and started making money. A lot more of it.

First, I quit Kaplan. Didn’t want any conflict of interest. Then, as soon as the restaurant started to get in the way of my new endeavor, I quit that as well.

When I quit both jobs, I wasn’t making quite as much with the new business…but the projections were giving me a solid indication that things would pick up quickly. So I just took the leap.

Mobile or PC? What 2016 Has Told Us About Mobile-Friendly Pages

For most of us, the smartphone has become a critical part of our daily lives. From checking our email to taking the occasional “selfie” and chatting with others on social media, the laptop may indeed soon become outdated. However, 2016 already seems to be a landmark year in terms of the rise of the humble and yet powerful smartphone. As marketers, what have we already learned about the importance of this device and what trends can we expect to continue into the foreseeable future? In order to leverage the benefits of mobile devices, it is critical to understand the answers to these questions.

The Trend Only Grows…

Many manufacturers have already performed detailed studies in regards to the importance of the smartphone in years to come. While it is already true that there are more mobile devices on the planet than people, the statistics do not end here. For example, manufacturing giant Ericsson predicts that more than 90% of all individuals over the age of six years old will possess a smartphone by the year 2020 (1). 2016 has already seen a massive rise in the use of these devices and thus, the market is huge for companies that are keen to keep ahead of the curve.

The Younger Generation

Did you notice that in the last paragraph, we stated that 90% of those six years and older will possess a mobile device? This is pivotal to note, for it shows a shift in the buying demographic. During 2016 and beyond, marketers will have to shift their PR strategies to meet the needs of this audience. If advertisements are outdated or considered to be stale, valuable revenue could be lost.

The Demise of the Personal Computer?

So far, we have only mentioned the prevalence of mobile devices. What about the humble PC? Are the predictions which state that it will go the way of the digital dinosaur true? In 2014, some analysts predicted that PC-focused manufacturers would be gone between 2016 and 2020 (2). This is obviously not the case. Still, it is only wise to assume that the number of static PCs and laptops will continue to decline. It would nonetheless be foolish to assume that these clever devices will end up in the scrap heap in only a few short years. 2016 has simply shown us that companies need to focus on marketing for the mobile community as opposed to the PC alone. The ONE truth seems to be that pages which are not optimized for personal computers will undoubtedly suffer in terms of rankings and clickthrough rates.

No Longer User Preferences Alone

Some marketers still believe that the only motivation to optimize a page for mobile devices is to satisfy the needs of the user. In 2015, this was arguably the case. However, the wizards at Google have once again added in their two cents. Now, pages which are not adapted to mobile devices will actually be penalized in terms of SERP rankings. This should be a concern for any digital marketing guru, for pages designed for the PC alone will not attract the much-needed traffic required to stay ahead of the competition. Adapting these portals now is a great way to prepare for the future.

To put it all together, the PC is not going anywhere anytime soon. However, the impact of the mobile device during 2016 is undeniable. Being able to tap into this younger, Tech-savvy audience is arguably one of the only ways to ensure success during the remainder of this year and into the future which is already looming around the next corner.
